ES & TWIST supporting the new multichannel communication tools

MediaMarkt (MediaMarket S.p.A.), the Italian arm of the global consumer electronics retailer, needed a centralized Product Content Management (PCM) solution to feed new multichannel sales and communication channels—e‑commerce, in‑store TV, digital signage, QR/mobile product sheets and proximity marketing. Hyphen‑Italia was engaged to design and implement the platform and integrated DALIM SOFTWARE (ES and TWIST) for workflow and image processing alongside Chalco.net, Adobe and Telestream to address product and digital asset consolidation and channel-specific delivery.

The implemented solution used DALIM SOFTWARE’s ES & TWIST to automate image adaptation, post‑production cut‑outs and delivery workflows, integrated with Hyphen’s Chalco.net and IBM WCS to unify Saturn and MediaWorld e‑commerce and feed 118 points of sale. DALIM SOFTWARE enabled fully automated workflows (some with no MediaMarkt staff required), faster time‑to‑market, improved content integrity and brand consistency, reduced asset redundancy, and streamlined flyer and in‑store content production—measurable by the single portal rollout, multichannel delivery to 118 PoS, and significant automation of image processing and distribution.
