DIALOGUE Engine brings new life to approvals

BORN Group, London, is a global digital agency that manages client approvals for major publishers and brands and has processed five million pages through its in‑house VIP flatplan system in the last four years. Facing support and color‑critical approval issues with its legacy Java‑based DIALOGUE solution and the need to consolidate client tools into an HTML5 platform (Cito), BORN turned to long‑time partner DALIM SOFTWARE to modernize remote proofing, workflow and approvals.

DALIM SOFTWARE’s DIALOGUE Engine (and ES for image work) was integrated into VIP with help from integrator LGS using the Engine’s API — a test build was running within days and went live in weeks, with interfaces written in about a week. The result is a faster, slicker approval workflow (unified notifications, a new “decline” button that removes manual double‑rejection), better colour support, and a clear path to embed ES and other services into Cito; the project rejuvenated BORN’s partnership with DALIM SOFTWARE and reduced support friction while supporting large‑scale page throughput.
