DALIM ES thumbnail at the heart of Reworld Media magazines

Reworld Media France, publisher of more than 30 magazines including Grazia, Pleine Vie, Auto Plus, Closer and Télé Star, faced the challenge of internalising and scaling its thumbnail/photoengraving workflow while providing editors with the same validation tools and service levels previously offered by external photoengravers. To gain production visibility, statistical monitoring and reduce fragmented manual processes (including FTP transfers), Reworld Media selected ES from DALIM SOFTWARE as the core thumbnail and prepress solution.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented ES in a controlled, title-by-title rollout (piloting Sciences & Vie Découvertes) with a reproducible installation procedure, fast editor training and integration plans via ES API. As a result, about ten titles are already managed in-house, paper thumbnails have been abandoned, PDFs are automatically sent to printers, traceability and production monitoring have improved, and Reworld Media reports clear time savings, greater flexibility over outsourcing and measurable productivity gains as more titles are deployed with DALIM SOFTWARE’s ES.
