CREEL Printing turned to DALIM SOFTWARE to handle increasingly complex, time-sensitive production for customers like the Christian Science Monitor and the Daily Racing Form. Facing tight turnarounds, multiple editions (print, mobile, flipbook), high-volume short-to-medium run catalog and direct mail work, and the need to scale without expanding staff, Creel needed an automated prepress and page-approval solution—implemented using DALIM SOFTWARE’s TWIST, MISTRAL and DIALOGUE products.

DALIM SOFTWARE delivered a JDF-driven automated workflow (TWIST for workflow orchestration; MISTRAL and DIALOGUE for imposition and approval), enabling Creel to boost throughput from about 100 to as many as 600 pages per hour and process over 3,000 pages per day. The platform allowed same-day DRF production (files recovered ~3:00 p.m., on press by 5:00 p.m., printed/delivered by 8:00 p.m.), helped Creel win additional CSPS work, and let them double–triple output without adding headcount; Creel is now upgrading to DALIM SOFTWARE ES 3 and DIALOGUE Touch for mobile approvals.
