Burda Druck, one of Europe’s leading gravure printers with sites in Offenburg, Nuremberg and Vieux‑Thann, faced increasing time‑critical publication schedules and a complex mix of projects that required a more efficient, consistent workflow. To address this, Burda Druck engaged DALIM SOFTWARE and implemented ES Enterprise Solutions together with TWIST and the DIALOGUE Engine to replace and standardise its internal workflow and improve soft proofing and data handling.

DALIM SOFTWARE deployed a central ES hub in Offenburg with automatic data distribution to the Nuremberg and Vieux‑Thann sites, integrated TWIST, DIALOGUE Engine and third‑party tools (e.g., GMG Color Server), and installed 26 soft‑proofing workstations across the three locations. The result was a highly automated, standardised production flow with calibrated soft proof clients on all web presses, faster turnaround for repeat jobs, reduced manual tasks for staff and significant time and cost savings thanks to improved quality assurance and streamlined data management.
