Automation of Pre-Media with ES / TWIST

P + E Digital Premedia (P + E) is a São Paulo–based prepress and digital printing specialist serving major advertising agencies and promotional clients. As the company expanded into pre‑media it needed a more flexible, automated solution for file checking, normalization and approvals to replace its in‑house tool and to integrate with other systems. P + E selected DALIM SOFTWARE products—TWIST and ES (including ES 3.0 and the DIALOGUE Engine)—to provide the APIs, automation and integration capabilities required.

Using DALIM SOFTWARE, P + E developed a web‑based +Send system that leverages ES APIs, integrates with existing TWIST workflows and uses GMG Color Server for color conversions; the DIALOGUE Engine removed the need to download PDFs by enabling submit/view/approve inside a single platform. The result was a faster, simpler and more controllable workflow that is easy to customize and access from anywhere, with improved color quality and eliminated manual review steps; the project moved from development in April to testing in September and customer rollout in December.
