Case Study: V-TAB achieves automated imposition and workflow efficiency with DALIM SOFTWARE

Adding imposed file features for the V-TAB Group is no imposition to DALIM SOFTWARE

V-TAB, a major Nordic print group based in Göteborg, Sweden, needed to automate increasingly complex prepress and imposition workflows across multiple press types while keeping customer approvals, file handling, and delivery precision under control. To address this, they worked with DALIM SOFTWARE and used DALIM ES, along with DALIM TWIST and earlier DALIM workflow tools, to better manage their print production and collaboration processes.

DALIM SOFTWARE implemented a highly automated workflow in DALIM ES that imports JDF data from V-TAB’s MIS, creates jobs automatically, sends reminders and approval messages, and handles most standard imposition tasks with minimal manual effort. The result was a much more hands-off production process: about 80% of V-TAB’s work is now handled automatically, they retained productivity even after consolidating prepress operations, and they can focus more on value-added tasks despite having fewer staff.
