A Dalet Case Study
KQED, a major public radio broadcaster based in San Francisco, faced the challenge of integrating its programming and playout into a single, seamless environment. To optimize its on-air operations and multi-platform content distribution, the station chose to upgrade its facilities with the DaletPlus Radio Suite from vendor Dalet.
The DaletPlus Radio Suite provided KQED with a unified platform for production, programming, and broadcast across 75 workstations. The solution streamlined workflows, allowing for faster production times and the ability to make last-minute changes to broadcasts. Dalet's platform also embedded automated media conversion to accelerate the distribution of content to interactive platforms.
