Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) needed a sustainable, enterprise-grade broadcast archive to manage decades of video, audio, books, and documents spread across tapes, discs, and siloed storage systems. To address this challenge, CyBC selected Dalet Media Life, powered by the Dalet Galaxy Media Asset Management platform, to centralize archive assets and better support production, content preparation, and delivery across TV, radio, and online teams.

Dalet implemented a unified archive workflow with metadata management, automation, and integration to CyBC’s existing production, playout, and storage systems. The solution included twelve Dalet Brio broadcast servers, web-based proxy browsing and storyboarding, and support for legacy content migration, which improved asset retrieval, enriched re-purposing, and preserved metadata continuity across third-party editing and distribution tools. While no specific numeric ROI was provided, Dalet’s system enabled CyBC to move toward a tapeless archive and more efficient cross-department access to archival content.
