BBC Wales, the national broadcaster for Wales, selected the Dalet Galaxy Media Asset Management and Orchestration platform to serve as the technological core of its new state-of-the-art media facility in Cardiff. The challenge was to find a centralized system to manage assets and orchestrate workflows across its production, news, studios, and delivery departments, replacing its previous technology through a multi-year transformation.

Dalet implemented its enterprise Dalet Galaxy platform as the central media hub, which will connect to all future systems and sub-systems. The solution provides a unified content repository and uses a BPMN-compliant workflow engine to orchestrate a wide range of media processes. The deployment, managed by Dalet Professional Services, is designed to provide the BBC with a future-proof framework for agility and to maximize return on investment as its needs evolve.
