Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust needed to equip its nursing staff with a robust, healthcare-specific mobile computer to run its new in-house electronic patient observations (E-Obs) application, POET. The device had to be enterprise-grade, secure, and supported by excellent services to ensure integration and future-proofing. Dakota Integrated Solutions deployed Zebra TC51-HC mobile computers supported by a three-year Zebra OneCare Managed Device Service. This solution provided accurate, timely recording of patient observations, reducing paperwork and improving efficiency. It enabled faster identification of deteriorating patients and enhanced communication, directly improving patient safety and care while offering a future-proof platform with a low total cost of ownership.
