QE Transport Services, a transport provider for medical specimens, needed a new electronic proof-of-delivery solution to improve specimen tracking and security to meet strict UKAS compliance standards. Dakota Integrated Solutions implemented its eTrakLogic ePOD software on Zebra mobile computers, providing QE Transport with full visibility of samples from over 2,000 healthcare facilities. The solution ensured compliance, prevented the loss of time-sensitive specimens, and improved customer service levels. The successful partnership has led to plans to expand the use of Dakota's solution into other service areas like patient transport.
