The Entertainer, the UK’s largest independent toy retailer with 100 stores and www.thetoyshop.com, needed to replace slow dial-up links between stores and head office with faster, more secure, always‑on connectivity and to remove single points of failure as the business expanded. They engaged Daisy to refresh their MPLS Virtual Private Network and upgrade store DSL circuits while retaining head office Ethernet bearers to protect sensitive data and improve performance.

Daisy, in collaboration with Comms365, deployed an upgraded MPLS VPN, upgraded DSL access, Cisco routers with embedded roaming SIMs for automatic 3G failover, and the Highlight monitoring service to show circuit utilisation and health. The solution delivered immediate resilient connectivity during primary line installation, allowed selected stores to offer customer WiFi, and produced a “significant improvement in reliability across all of our stores,” plus real‑time visibility to measure ROI and support faster, lower‑cost connections.
