The Douay Martyrs School - Customer Case Study

The Douay Martyrs School, a Roman Catholic secondary and sixth form with around 1,400 students across two sites, faced declining communication from an outdated Alcatel digital telephone system that was hindering teacher‑parent interaction and pastoral care. To modernise communications, the school engaged Daisy to replace the legacy kit with a Mitel MiVoice Office hybrid telephony solution (digital and IP) and related productivity features.

Daisy implemented the Mitel system using existing cabling, added Mitel Dynamic Extension for mobile pairing, and provided training and an affordable maintenance package. Daisy also performed a bill audit that uncovered approximately £35,000 of prior overbilling and secured a credit, while delivering annual bill savings of “thousands of pounds per year”; operationally the school gained voicemail‑to‑email, conferencing, call transfer and improved responsiveness across its two sites.
