Secure Retail, a specialist provider of payments hardware and services, ran critical HPUX and Windows systems whose availability underpins sales, finance and logistics. Faced with limited in-house HPUX expertise, growing performance demands, and pressure from partners and insurers to prove tested business continuity, Secure Retail chose Daisy — specifically Daisy’s Cloud Backup & Recovery service (using the Asigra platform) — to address their disaster-recovery gap.

Daisy delivered a single-solution Cloud Backup & Recovery with a local appliance and automated, cross-platform backups, and ran an early, successful test; Secure Retail subsequently recovered from two real-world server failures with minimal disruption. The Daisy solution improved recovery time objectives (RTOs), gave granular control over what is backed up (reducing cost), provided faster local access via a virtual failover, and delivered tested confidence and reporting that met the business’s continuity requirements.
