A Daisy Group Case Study
RICS (the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) needed to improve performance across nine UK sites and adopt a lower‑cost model for its international sites. Facing an aging mix of MPLS, leased lines and point‑to‑point private wires, RICS engaged Daisy to modernize its network using Ethernet First Mile (EFM) and Ethernet circuits to deliver a more efficient, cost‑effective connectivity approach.
Daisy implemented EFM and Ethernet circuits to replace the private wires and integrate the UK sites into RICS’s existing MPLS network, increasing available bandwidth while reducing costs. The change delivered considerable cost savings and improved operational efficiencies over three years, with RICS praising Daisy’s planning, deployment and ongoing service and choosing to continue working exclusively with Daisy.
