A Daisy Group Case Study
Condé Nast Publications Ltd, publisher of titles including Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ, faced increasing strain on its multi‑protocol network after rapid growth and needed higher performance, greater reliability, cost savings and improved business continuity. Condé Nast engaged Daisy (formerly Alternative) to modernize its communications estate, targeting upgrades such as an Extreme Networks LAN, Mitel IP Telephony migration and enhanced Juniper security.
Daisy deployed an Extreme LAN across all UK offices, rolled out Mitel IP Telephony to replace legacy Siemens systems, implemented Juniper security, and introduced a VPLS WAN with SIP trunking, backed by a 24/7 NOC plus a dedicated service manager and desk-based support. As a result, Condé Nast gained immediate visibility and faster incident response, a significant performance and reliability boost, migration off ISDN, measurable cost savings and stronger business continuity.
