CareTech, a provider of personalised care and specialist education for adults and young people with complex needs, faced a fragmented communications estate: analogue phone lines and ADSL connections across many sites, multiple suppliers (including Daisy) with varying charge plans and contract terms, and a need to reduce suppliers, unify billing and cut costs while improving its helpdesk capability.
Daisy audited CareTech’s entire estate, identified a potential 30% cost saving, and proposed an enhanced contact management solution with ISDN, stronger ADSL and consolidation of telephony and internet to enable VoIP and video conferencing. By consolidating with Daisy, CareTech gained stronger account management, more efficient ordering and billing processes and marginal cost savings, while opening up further consolidation and service improvements.
