A Daisy Group Case Study
2gether NHS Foundation Trust, which provides mental and social healthcare across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire with over 2,000 staff working across 30 sites, faced an outdated, costly telephony system that limited operational flexibility and drove high call expenditure. To address this, the Trust worked with Daisy to deploy IP telephony using a Mitel 3300 network (including around 2,800 IP licences) over the region’s existing WAN and to support services such as the Trust’s Freephone crisis line.
Daisy implemented the Mitel solution with resiliency built into the WAN, and enabled Mitel’s NuPoint Call Director to route and schedule calls for the Crisis Team, producing free internal calls between sites and uninterrupted telephony across the estate. As a result, the Trust reports considerable cost savings it can reinvest in services, improved staff mobility and the ability to manage calls more effectively — benefits the Trust attributes directly to Daisy’s Mitel deployment.
