Preview of the Mejuri Case Study

Mejuri’s nimble business model requires a rock-solid data platform to support the company’s rapid growth

Mejuri, a global e-commerce jewelry brand experiencing rapid growth, required a rock-solid data platform to sustain its nimble business model. The challenge was aggregating and analyzing data from numerous sources, including third-party vendors, business partners, and its brick-and-mortar stores, to maintain a complete picture of the business. This led them to implement a data platform orchestrated by Dagster.

The solution involved using Dagster to orchestrate 47 pipelines across two production instances, integrating data ingestion and providing visibility and alerting for pipeline health. By running on Dagster+, the team offloaded infrastructure concerns, enabling rapid development. The Dagster-dbt integration facilitated smoother collaboration between data and analytics engineers. As a result, Dagster provided the critical foundation Mejuri needed to support its continued growth and future initiatives, including machine learning.
