Digital India Corporation scales Poshan Tracker to 100M+ beneficiaries with Daffodil Software

Digital India Corporation, a business division under India's Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, needed to modernize and massively scale its Poshan Tracker application. The application, used to track nutrition and health for women and children at rural Anganwadi centers, was a small-scale pilot struggling with infrastructure limitations and could not support a nationwide rollout. They partnered with Daffodil Software for product engineering and app modernization services to overcome these challenges.

Daffodil Software re-engineered the application, migrating it to AWS cloud for scalable performance and implementing numerous enhancements. These included new modules for growth monitoring, pregnancy tracking, inventory management, and grievance redressal, alongside advanced reporting and data visualization tools. As a result, the modernized Poshan Tracker scaled to support over 1.3 million active Anganwadi centers, efficiently serving health data tracking for over 100 million beneficiaries across India.
