How Cast Has Powered Healthcare Webinars & Virtual Events Through the Pandemic

Cast is a Lisbon-based information and technology company that builds customized software and manages clinical events for healthcare organizations. When COVID-19 forced in-person conferences to stop, Cast needed a robust online video platform to embed high-quality streams in custom landing pages, manage registries and attendee interaction, and keep physician training events running — so they turned to Dacast (using Dacast’s Zoom integration) to replace Zoom-only workflows.

Using Dacast, Cast integrated live streams into customizable HTML landing pages with Node.js registration, Q&A and backend attendee monitoring, playback protection, and video analytics, while streaming Zoom sessions through Dacast’s platform. The partnership enabled Cast to host five virtual events so far, preserve access to critical medical education for hundreds to thousands of clinicians, and benefit from Dacast’s reliable streaming and responsive support as they expand virtual and hybrid offerings.
