VideoHUB, a New Zealand audiovisual company that produces and edits video for conferences and live events, wanted to tap a wider audience and create a new revenue stream by offering monetized online streaming for racing and other events. Their challenge was finding an all‑in‑one solution that supported live and on‑demand streaming, mobile playback, and built‑in monetization — which led them to Dacast and its streaming platform with an integrated HTML5 player and paywall.

Dacast provided a turnkey streaming service with a built‑in player, pay‑per‑view and subscription paywall, CDN delivery and promotional tools, plus responsive support. As a result VideoHUB extended its reach to viewers in over 10 countries (including Australia, the US, the UK, France and Singapore), drew more than 1,200 unique visitors in a single month (January 2014) and generated thousands in pay‑per‑view revenue, delivering clear increased revenues and global distribution for the business.
