Inyo Search and Rescue - Customer Case Study

Inyo Search and Rescue, a volunteer team operating in California's challenging terrain, needed a solution to help them respond to missions more efficiently. They became a customer of D4H in 2021, utilizing the D4H Team Manager platform to manage their complex operations.

By using D4H's Equipment Management, Personnel and Training, and Incident Reporting tools through a volunteer grant scheme, the team enhanced their operational readiness. The impact of D4H was demonstrated in 2023 when Inyo SAR won a Rocky Talkie Award for a technically complex and high-risk nighttime mountain rescue on Mt. Emerson, a mission that contributed to their total of 44 rescues performed that year. D4H provides the tools that support this volunteer team in their life-saving work.
