A D4H Case Study
Vancouver CAN-TF1, a heavy urban search and rescue (HUSAR) team, faced a challenge in maintaining operational and logistics readiness. Their use of multiple, disparate software systems created inefficient information silos, making it difficult to gain an overview of personnel availability, equipment status, and program costs. The team needed a single, unified platform to manage these critical aspects of their readiness and provide management oversight for their government sponsors. They selected D4H Technologies to meet this need.
D4H implemented its readiness and response software, including its Personnel & Training, Equipment Management, and Incident Reporting modules. The solution provided CAN-TF1 with a single system to track member qualifications and availability, ensure their equipment cache was always complete and maintained, and generate detailed reports on activities and expenditures for accountability. This gave the team management the data-driven evidence needed to demonstrate readiness and secure continued funding.
