Teaching Training Together, a nonprofit focused on improving classroom instruction and school leadership in developing nations, struggled with the high cost, logistics, and limited reach of in-person professional development. It needed a way to make its educator training more affordable, accessible, and scalable, and turned to D2L Brightspace for an online learning platform.

D2L Brightspace helped Teaching Training Together move 95% of its seminar content online in just five months with a team of two, while preserving the quality of the original program. The rollout expanded global reach sixfold, with learners from 57 countries compared to eight for in-person seminars, and made courses available at no cost to learners, saving each teacher about $60 and each school leader $120.
