Upper Grand District School Board - Customer Case Study

Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) needed a flexible way to deliver professional learning amid teacher shortages, changing learning preferences, and scattered resources. Using D2L Brightspace, the board launched the “Let’s GO! UGDSB Learn” platform to provide targeted, accessible PD for educators and principals.

D2L Brightspace helped UGDSB build customized learning paths, role-based content, and easy-to-update digital resources. The results included 67% of students moving out of math risk categories, a 26% improvement in early reading interventions over a 10-week cycle, and strong adoption of the platform, with Grade 3 and Grade 6 VLE access rates of 543% and 529%, respectively.
