Colliers Project Leaders, a real estate project delivery firm with 700 staff across Canada and new offices in the Middle East, needed a way to scale onboarding and ongoing professional development while growing at about 15% per year. With one lead trainer responsible for designing, delivering and tracking hundreds of courses and dozens of concurrent learner groups, the company’s instructor-led model couldn’t keep pace with hiring targets or its expectation that new hires complete 100+ hours of training in their first year.

Colliers moved to D2L’s Brightspace LMS, adopting a blended, self‑paced model with video, quizzes, Intelligent Agents and advanced analytics to streamline administration, mobile learning and progress tracking. Since launch they rolled out 20 courses, supported over 670 active learners and achieved more than 4,000 course completions in the first year, enabling rapid onboarding of up to 10 new hires per week, letting one trainer manage training for 700 people and delivering 85%+ average learner satisfaction.
