A D2L Brightspace Case Study
New Leaders, an organization focused on helping education leaders create equitable learning environments, needed a new learning management system that could better support its online and mobile training programs. Its previous LMS was difficult to navigate, hard to manage, and lacked flexibility and interactivity, especially as remote learning became more important. New Leaders selected D2L Brightspace as the platform to help scale its leadership development courses.
With support from D2L Brightspace and D2L Services, New Leaders implemented the new system in under three months instead of the planned academic year. The platform enabled more flexible, interactive learning and modular course design, and feedback from users was 99% positive. D2L Brightspace also helped New Leaders train over 8,000 leaders and reach more than 2 million students, 87% of whom are students of color.
