McKendree University wanted to expand online learning across its liberal arts and other programs, but its existing LMS was costly, inflexible, and inefficient, while also lacking strong analytics, integrations, and support for faculty-created content. To address this, the university turned to D2L Brightspace and its Learning Administration Manager (LAM) service.

D2L Brightspace helped McKendree University replace its old system with a more intuitive platform, configure it to fit the school’s needs, and streamline course administration and support. The results included more engaging and accessible online courses, very positive user feedback, and a reduction in course content administration time from three days to less than half a day, while also improving accreditation reporting and opening the door to predictive analytics.
