Gafta, the Grain and Feed Trade Association, needed to improve learner engagement and turn its training into a broader industry learning hub. Using D2L Brightspace, and its Agribility™ platform based on Brightspace, Gafta expanded beyond its existing distance learning programme and short courses to serve a dispersed international membership more effectively.
D2L Brightspace helped Gafta launch more bite-sized courses, add virtual classroom and automated certification features, and create branded partner learning spaces. The result was a 49% uplift in learner engagement, growth from five to 30 online short courses, and a new revenue stream from commercialised training partnerships, while staff also upskilled in learning design and content creation.
