A D-Sight Case Study
The Center for Coastal Health, a non-profit organization, needed to improve the system for producing fish fingerlings, which are vital for sustainable fisheries and food security in Sri Lankan rural communities. To address this challenge, they utilized D-Sight's collaborative decision-making software to help prioritize the most effective options.
D-Sight's platform facilitated a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) process that evaluated seven alternative production systems. This transparent, data-driven approach enabled all stakeholders to reach a consensus on a preferred collaborative system involving national, provincial, and community-based organizations. By using D-Sight, the Center for Coastal Health improved the efficiency of the fingerling production process and directly supported the development of sustainable fisheries.
