A D-Sight Case Study
The Center for Coastal Health (CCH) faced the challenge of improving fish fingerling production systems for rural Sri Lankan communities that rely on them for food and income. A more effective mechanism was needed to prioritize alternatives as development budgets were limited. The organization used D-Sight's collaborative decision-making software, and its Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) capabilities, to address this.
Using D-Sight's platform, CCH evaluated seven different production systems with stakeholders. The software's transparent process enabled a data-driven analysis that led to a consensus on a preferred, collaborative system involving multiple organizations. This resulted in an improved and more efficient fingerling production process to support sustainable fisheries development.
