A D-Link Case Study
Wincheap Foundation Primary School worked with D-Link to address the growing demands on its wireless network as the number of connected devices on campus climbed to around 200, including 102 iPads. The school needed a reliable, robust Wi-Fi environment to support teaching and learning across 400 pupils, and turned to D-Link’s centrally managed wireless network solution.
D-Link implemented a Wi-Fi upgrade using Unified Wireless AC1750 Dual-Band Access Points (DWL-8610AP) and a Unified Wireless Controller (DWC-2000), replacing 10 of the school’s 20 access points. As a result, Wincheap achieved three times faster network speeds, with Wireless AC delivering up to 1.3 Gbps, improved device registration for staff, and a more scalable wireless network for an increasingly multimedia-focused environment.
