Blanco ISD, a public school district in Texas, needed a cost-effective way to strengthen campus security across three campuses while protecting new construction and existing assets. Faced with occasional vandalism, illegal entry, and property damage, the district looked for a complete D-Link IP surveillance solution that could fit within a $100,000 budget.

D-Link implemented a turn-key end-to-end surveillance system with 60 PoE-powered indoor and outdoor cameras, 11 Power over Ethernet switches, and video management software. The solution consolidated camera power and data over single network cables, helping Blanco ISD save on installation materials and labor, avoid a separate camera network, deter vandals, and gain visual evidence for incidents ranging from disruptive behavior to traffic accidents.
