Softcat, a leading UK reseller, needed a more reliable security setup for its new Marlow head office. Facing low-resolution, unusable footage from its previous cameras, the company turned to D-Link for a surveillance solution that could cover both indoor and outdoor areas while storing large amounts of footage for long periods and allowing quick remote access.

D-Link implemented a mix of full HD day-and-night fixed dome and fixed bullet network cameras, along with a DNR-326 2-bay professional network video recorder. The new system improved investigations with high-quality, reliable footage and provided strong peace of mind; Softcat also reported that its previous surveillance system cost about 10 times more, yet the D-Link solution was “easily one hundred times better.”
