Premier Hotels Offers Guests Government-Compliant Internet Access with D-Link Broadband Networking Solution

Premier Hotels, a hospitality group serving a growing number of federal and state government employees, needed secure in-room Internet access that would support government business without relying on wireless networks or the high cost of installing new cabling in every room. D-Link provided a wired networking option using its Broadband Distribution over Coax (BDoC) solution, leveraging the hotel’s existing coaxial TV cabling.

D-Link implemented the DXN-C4001 and DXN-C1001 to deliver broadband access of up to 60Mbps over existing coaxial lines, giving Premier Hotels cost-effective, high-security Internet access in every room. The installation was non-intrusive and avoided room downtime, helping the hotels improve competitiveness, occupancy rates, and customer loyalty while meeting guests’ security requirements.
