Hill Country Memorial Hospital Enhances Campus and Community Security with D-Link IP Surveillance

Hill Country Memorial Hospital, a nationally ranked Top 100 hospital, needed to improve campus security because its existing surveillance system had dead spots and several areas with no coverage at all. The hospital turned to D-Link for help, looking for a solution that could provide complete visibility across its 135,000-square-foot facility and six additional onsite buildings.

D-Link implemented a mix of Full HD indoor and outdoor IP cameras along with Video Insights VMS software, giving the hospital expanded high-definition coverage and remote monitoring capabilities. All 45 cameras and the software were installed within a week, and the new system has helped staff respond faster and support investigations with clear footage; HCM is now even discussing adding another 32 cameras to further extend coverage.
