D‑Link Unified Wireless Solution Helps Bárdi Autó to Manage Inventory

Bárdi Autó, Central Europe’s largest spare parts supplier, needed a wireless network that could keep 200 industrial mobile data terminals connected reliably across a constantly changing environment, while also remaining compatible with its Motorola barcode scanners. The company turned to D-Link for a unified wireless and switching solution to replace its partially covered previous system.

D-Link implemented a complete wireless infrastructure using DGS-3120 and DGS-3620 switches, DWS-3160 unified managed switches, and 143 DWL-3600AP plus 12 DWL-6600AP access points. The result was nearly 100% coverage, 100-110 clients operating without interruptions, and strong L2 Fast Roaming performance even as one device moved across 20-30 APs per day. D-Link also enabled free Wi‑Fi for customers and business partners, while maintaining compatibility with Bardi Autó’s existing Motorola scanners.
