D-Link xStack Storage Solution Offers Non-Profit Law Firm Expandable Network Capacity

Metropolitan Police Department, through its Metropolitan Public Defender office, needed to replace outdated servers to improve speed, increase disk capacity, and ensure reliable network storage at its main office in Portland, Oregon. The organization also needed a fast, flexible, and cost-effective system that could scale for future growth, and it chose D-Link xStack storage networking products to meet those needs.

D-Link implemented DSN-5210-10 and DSN-3200-10 xStack iSCSI SAN arrays, giving the customer expandable storage with volume virtualization and support for future JBOD expansion. The solution reduced costs compared with Fibre Channel alternatives, improved scalability with up to six expansion enclosures, and allowed drives of different sizes to be combined without migration or reconstruction, delivering simpler management and stronger storage efficiency for Metropolitan Police Department.
