A D-Link Case Study
Gottlieb Daimler School wanted to explore tablet-based teaching in vocational education, but its existing network and wireless infrastructure had limited bandwidth and not enough ready connections to support intensive classroom device use. D-Link was brought in to help provide the wireless and network foundation needed for modern digital learning.
D-Link implemented 45 DWL-8610AP access points, a redundant pair of DWC-2000 Wi-Fi controllers, DGS-3420 managed switch stacks, and a DXS-3600 backbone with 10Gb uplinks. The result was uninterrupted network operation and continuous classroom connectivity, enabling the school to fully use its teacher tablet sets and begin rolling out the new approach across subjects, with phase two expansion planned for additional buildings.
