D-Link Provides Security System for Northeast China’s Largest Shopping Mall

The customer, a major shopping center in Northeast China, required a comprehensive 24/7 security system to monitor its 170,000 square meter retail venue. The challenge was to move beyond a traditional, single-control-room monitoring setup, which was inflexible and costly to expand. D-Link was chosen to provide a complete digital security and network solution.

D-Link implemented a high-definition video surveillance network using a variety of its cameras, switches, and centralized management software. This distributed architecture provided stable, real-time monitoring and video storage. The results included efficient remote viewing from any location, the ability for multiple staff to monitor feeds simultaneously without being in a central room, and a system that is now extremely easy to extend or reconfigure.
