D-Link Outdoor Wireless Solution Helps Deter Illegal Dumping in Singapore

Keat Hong Mirage, a newly completed housing project in Singapore, faced illegal dumping of renovation waste from residents. Chua Chu Kang Town Council and the Housing & Development Board needed an outdoor monitoring solution that could provide real-time surveillance, and they turned to D-Link for help, including wireless IP surveillance and outdoor access point technology.

D-Link implemented a wireless IP surveillance solution using DAP-3310 Wireless N300 Outdoor Access Points with PoE Pass-Through and DCS-7110 Outdoor Full HD PoE Day/Night Fixed Bullet Network Cameras. The system enabled smooth signal transmission to 15 cameras, delivering clear video quality and real-time monitoring while reducing total cost of ownership and completing installation within a tight timeline.
