D-Link IP Surveillance Helps Tarby Gård Farm Keep Watch Over Livestock and Equipment

Tarby Gård, a historic farm in Vallentuna, Sweden, needed a way to monitor livestock, equipment, and facilities when no staff were onsite after a burglary raised security concerns. D-Link provided an IP surveillance solution to help the farm keep watch remotely while complementing its existing alarm system.

D-Link implemented a system using DAP-3520, multiple D-Link IP cameras, a DGS-1210-10P PoE switch, and a DNR-322L recorder. The solution lets the owners check the farm in real time from a phone or computer, receive alerts for movement or noise, and review recordings later; it also improved security, enabled remote animal welfare checks, and eliminated the need for power sockets at camera locations through PoE.
