D-Link IP Surveillance Helps Create Safe Environment for Learning at Helsby High School

Helsby High School, a state-maintained secondary school in Northwest Cheshire, needed to replace a dated analogue CCTV system that was costly to maintain and delivered pixelated images that made it difficult to identify individuals. The poor coverage and known black spots left the school vulnerable to vandalism, theft, and behavioral issues.

D-Link implemented 72 Day/Night Full HD Dome IP surveillance cameras for indoor and outdoor use, giving the school clear footage and powerful zoom capabilities. With the new D-Link surveillance system, Helsby High School reduced vandalism, improved evidence gathering for investigations, and saved the Site Manager about 20 hours per month in CCTV repair work.
