D-Link Helps Treviglio Hospital Trust Balance Security and Compliance

Treviglio Hospital Trust, a group of four hospitals in Lombardy, Italy, needed to improve safety for patients, visitors, and staff while also protecting facilities from theft and vandalism. The trust also had to comply with new Italian privacy regulations governing the use of video images in healthcare settings. D-Link provided an IP Surveillance solution, including cameras, switches, and network video recorders, to address these needs.

D-Link implemented more than 130 IP video cameras, over 40 PoE switches, and 40 NVRs to create a flexible, modular surveillance system that worked with the hospitals’ existing infrastructure. The result was easier deployment, lower management, maintenance, and integration costs, and real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure with a modern system that met privacy and quality requirements.
