As both a network operator and integrator, it required Ethernet hardware that could last 10 years, support 10 Gigabit fiber distribution, IPv4/IPv6, and MAC-based port security, all while serving a rapidly growing student customer base.

D-Link provided Pavlov Media with its DGS-1510 Series Gigabit Stackable Smart Managed Switches, featuring full CLI support, 10 Gigabit uplinks, 1 Gigabit access, ATP PoE, and MAC-based radius authorization. With D-Link, Pavlov reduced call volume by about 5% even as supported beds increased by 30%, cut call length by roughly 10%, and lowered switch configuration time from about 45 minutes to 2 minutes per device.
