D-Link Helps Leading Display Company Keep an Eye on High-Value Equipment

ELM UK, a leading display company, needed a surveillance system to protect high-value equipment and inventory, monitor proper use of equipment, oversee lone workers for health and safety, and cover both internal areas and external entrances at its Corby head office. The company turned to D-Link for an IP surveillance solution.

D-Link, working with installer Shimmtek, supplied and configured 14 indoor and outdoor HD cameras, including bullet, dome, and cube models with day/night capability, connected to two DNR-326 network video recorders with audio recording and remote viewing. The system was installed in three days, mostly over a weekend to minimize disruption, and gave ELM UK the ability to monitor all sites remotely, improving peace of mind and helping save the cost of hiring dedicated on-site staff.
