D-Link Helps Kriftel Riding Club with Surveillance and Wireless Solutions

Kriftel Riding and Driving Club, a 1932-founded equestrian club with more than 500 members and 19 horses, needed a better way to monitor its animals across a large property. The club wanted horse owners to stay connected while away, improve emergency response, and address data protection concerns around surveillance. D-Link provided the club with enhanced Day/Night Indoor Cloud Cameras (DCS-942L) and a Wireless N PoE Access Point for outdoor use (DAP-3310).

With the D-Link solution in place, horse owners can receive instant smartphone or email alerts and check stall activity remotely from a phone, tablet, or computer, even speaking through the camera’s speaker if needed. The system improved monitoring and reassurance for members, and it was affordable enough that the club is now considering expanding video surveillance to its quarantine stable as well.
