D-Link Helps Deter Theft at Mission Motorcycles

Mission Motorcycles, one of the UK’s leading motorcycle dealerships, needed a better way to protect its store after its existing CCTV system proved unreliable, costly to maintain, and produced footage too poor for police use. D-Link was brought in to replace the outdated tape-based setup with a more effective IP surveillance solution.

D-Link implemented a surveillance system built around a DCS-7510 Day and Night Outdoor IP Camera, five DCS-6111 Day and Night Indoor Dome IP Cameras, a DGS-1224P Power over Ethernet Switch, and a DNS-722-4 Network Video Recorder. The new system deterred theft, saved staff significant time and effort, and delivered clear footage that police could use, while also helping Mission Motorcycles potentially lower insurance costs by reducing claims for burglaries and damage.
